VIDALIA — Services for Nola Faye Farmer, 74, of Ferriday, who died Friday, June 12, 2015, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 10 a.m. today at Riverside Baptist Church with the Rev. Glen Harrigill officiating.06:16 NolaFarmer obitpic

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Farmer was born Nov. 20, 1940, in Clayton, the daughter of Jasper and Leola Kirkland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Farmer Jr.; and two sisters, Linda Gail Kirkland and Earlene Thompson.

Survivors include one daughter, Angela G. Donaldson of Vidalia; three sisters, Betty Harrison of Natchez, Margie Porter of Jonesville and Murlean Milligan of Slidell, La.; two grandchildren, Clint Barnett and wife, Dawn, and Danny Barnett and wife, Dakota, of Vidalia; five great-grandchildren, Desiree Barnett, Trent Barnett, Hunter Barnett, Zoey Barnett and Maddox Barnett, all of Vidalia; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Trent Barnett, Hunter, Barnett, John Riley Grant, Dustin Sylvester, Curtis Smith and Marc McFall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Milligan, Edward Porter and Lamkin “Daddy O” Lyles.
