NATCHEZ — Services for Linda “Captain Lou” Darnelle Anders, 62, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez, were 10 a.m. Friday at Marshall Funeral Home Natchez Chapel with the Rev. Patrick Anders Sr. officiating.

Burial followed at the Anders Family Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Ms. Anders was born July 11, 1953, in Natchez, the daughter of Nathan Anders Jr. and Annie Roshelle Britt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two ex-husbands, Roy Lee Ray Sr. and Butch Irby; two grandchildren; and two cousins, Terry Britt and Andy Britt.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Jackson, Destinee Polk and husband, Tommy, Faye Fairchild and husband, James, all of Natchez, and Bessie Knight and husband, Steven, of Lake Charles, La.; three sons, Roy Ray Jr. of Natchez, Carl Ray and wife, Elizabeth, of Tennessee and Sidney Irby Jr. and wife, Jimmy Lynn, of Natchez; one sister, Elaine Green; three brothers, Michael Anders, Chris Anders and Jeff Anders; one uncle, the Rev. Patrick Anders and wife, Clara; one ex-son-in-law, Dion Jackson; 27 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
