VIDALIA —Funeral services for Dollie Willis Sweat, 83, of Vidalia, who passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ferriday, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oakhill Baptist Church in Oakdale, La., with Bro. Bruce Willis officiating.

Interment will follow at Oakhill Cemetery in Oakdale under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.

Dollie Sweat was born on Thursday, April 14, 1932 in Oakdale to Frank Willis and Laura Buxton Willis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter, Dell Sweat; her sisters, Eddie Willis Ray, Lizzie Willis Edward and Ruth Willis Doyle.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Sweat of Vidalia; her son, Jerry W. Sweat and wife, Darline, of Ferriday; her daughter, Judi Barr of Vidalia; grandsons, Jeremy Barr of Zwolle, La., and Senior Airman Clinton Elijah Sweat of West Monroe, La.; brothers IV Willis of Baton Rouge, John Willis of Slidell, La., and Roy Willis of Alabama; and sister Nelda Willis of Georgia.

Pallbearers will be her family.
