VIDALIA — Services for Billy D. DeLaughter, 69, of Natchez, who died Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez-Community Campus, will be 1 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia with the Rev. Jacob Howington officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction on Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. DeLaughter was born June 22, 1946, in Independence, the son of Bill and Margie DeLaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Johnny Delaughter.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patsy DeLaughter; his mother of Natchez; one son, Kevin DeLaughter of Natchez; one daughter, Tina DeLaughter Grantham and husband, Rodney, of Natchez; two sisters, Janice Norris and husband, Carl, of Natchez and Elaine Green and husband, Bud, of Houston, Miss.; one sister-in-law, Tina DeLaughter; six grandchildren, Bridget, Patrick and Marilyn Delaughter, E.J., Ashley and Taylor Grantham; seven, great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Patrick DeLaugher, Donnie Babb, Aaron Day, Corvan Day, Jarrett Day and Melvin Grantham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Norris Jr., Carl Norris, John DeLaughter Jr. and Dale Collier.
