NATCHEZ — Services for Larry Darnell Johnson, 60, of Natchez, who died Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at the Adams County Nursing Home, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Marblestone Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at the Clearmount Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnson was born March 5, 1955, the son of Percy and Queen Ester Johnson.

He attended the New Orleans public schools.

He was a carpenter and was retired.

Mr. Johnson was Baptist.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing dominoes and spades.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and his adopted parents.

Survivors include five children; seven brothers; 10 sisters; his grandmother; one aunt; six uncles; seven grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jadarrius Johnson, Kerry Johnson, Maurice Gibson, Phillip Davis, Willie Lee Wright and Teal Johnson.
