Let’s reference Twisted Sister: “You’ve got to ride to live, live to ride.” Get ready to ride! The 5th Annual Natchez Poker Run will be held Oct. 3, at Fat Mama’s Tamales. “Let the life fever go, the world is yours you know”; get your motorcycle, car, truck, or any street legal vehicle and come join the show.

This year the Poker Run is benefitting our local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9375. With your help will be able to complete many projects. All monies are utilized on a local level. A few of the many projects sponsored by the VFW include; Voice of Democracy, which is a local high school essay contest; Patriots Pen, which is a local junior high essay contest, A Military Assistance Program, Helping Needy Veterans, and Support National Home for Children Who Lost a Solder in Battle.

The Krewe of Fat Mama’s Tamales and Adams County Search and Rescue have planned this event to assist VFW Post 9375 in their amazing endeavors.
