VIDALIA — Funeral arrangements for Geoffrey Gene Yates, 50, of Vidalia, who died Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, in Vidalia, are incomplete at Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Yates was born on May 16, 1965 in Great Bend, Kan., to Gene Yates and Patsy Yates.

Geoffrey proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve.

He is preceded in death by his father and sister, Angela Yates.

He is survived by his mother, of Vidalia; two daughters, Angela Nash and Sydni Henderson and husband, Danny, both of Witchita, Kan.; his son, Anthony Nash and wife, Stephanie, of Witchita; sister Judy Yates of Pensacola, Fla.; two grandsons, Tristen Henderson and Ryu Nash and three granddaughters, Kataunna Nash, Isabell Nash and Aamari Henderson.
