Jimbo and Jodee Trant of Monterey announce the engagement of their daughter, Tanner Trant to Evan Parker, son of Lee and Amanda Parker of Jonesville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Jimmy and Linda Trant and Ralph and Josephine Hill, all of Monterey.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Joyce Parker and the late Alvin “Bull” Parker of Jonesville and Kerry and Peggy Richey of Manifest, La.

The wedding will be 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at 1604 Ratcliff Road in Sicily Island.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
