STAMPLEY — Services for Harvey Lee “Daddy Lee” Anderson, 81, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez, will be noon Friday at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Stampley with the Rev. Lonnie Culbert officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel in Natchez and 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Anderson was born Dec. 29, 1933, in Jefferson County, the son of Simon and Beulah Anderson.

He was retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ronnie Owens; four brothers, James Anderson, Ed Anderson and wife, Mildred, Lehmann Anderson and wife, Mable, and Joe Anderson and wife, Murlee; and three sisters, Katie Jackson and husband, Felix, Lula Mae Anderson and Geneva Ross and husband, Love.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie Anderson; one son, Barry Davis of California; one grandson, Travis Owens of Brent, Ala.; one great-granddaughter, Zoey Owens of Brent; two sisters, Carrolee Frye of Natchez and Beatrice Anderson Green and husband, Clarence, of Fayette; four brothers-in-law, Melvin Brown and wife, Helen, of Richfield, Minn., Ricky Brown and wife, Faye, of Dallas, Goloman Brown and wife, Retha Mae, of Heidelberg and James Henry Brown and wife, Lula, of Robbins, Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Georgie McGee of D’Iberville and Marie Brown of Heidelberg; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
