WESTLAKE — Services for Helen Wallace Wiley Robbins, 77, of Westlake, who died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at Rosewood Nursing Center in Lake Charles, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles with the Rev. John Nichols officiating.

Burial will follow at Carter Cemetery in Kinder, La.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Robbins was born on Sept. 5, 1938 in Bogue Chitto to Louis Howell Wallace and Bernice Allred Wallace.

She worked as a nurse’s aid at St. Patrick Hospital a number of years ago.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Leland Wiley; two brothers, Jerry Wallace and Robert “Bob” Wallace and one sister, Brenda Deer.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Arthur Robbins of Westlake; two daughters, Sherry Wiley Kiser of Natchez and Amanda Wiley Cortez of Westlake; a special son-in-law Hermis Cortez and wife, Marbella; five grandchildren, Emmanuel Cortez, Diego Cortez, Hermis Cortez Jr., Sofia Cortez and Andres Cortez, all of Westlake; a number of nieces and nephews and special friends John and Geneva Nichols of Kinder.
