Rev. David E. Strebeck

COLLINS — Services for the Rev. David E. Strebeck, 82, who died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Salem Baptist Church in Collins with the Rev. Dennis Campbell and Dr. Ray Strebeck officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Strebeck served as pastor of churches in Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama for 62 years.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter; three brothers; and his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Renette; one daughter, Cindy Berrell; one son, Stephen Strebeck; daughter-in-law, Karen Strebeck; son-in-law, Robert Berrell; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Don Beard, Ronnie Strebeck, Van Strebeck, Wesley Strebeck, Matthew Berrell and Patrick Berrell.
