Mr. and Mrs. Richard Y. Sims of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Abby Kathryn Sims to Justin Adam Whittington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Whittington of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Brandon High School and a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She is employed by St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Cecille Eure and the late Erskine Eure of Pearl and Mrs. Clara Barlow and the late Julian Barlow of Brandon.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez and is employed by the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office in Brandon.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Sue Jackson and the late Billy G. Jackson of Ferriday and Mr. Harold Whittington and the late Bonnell Whittington of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Linden Bed and Breakfast in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at Linden.
