JONESVILLE — Services for Richard Lafayette Stewart Jr., 49, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, in Jonesville, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church in Jonesville with the Rev. Todd Tucker officiating.

Burial will follow at the Heard Cemetery in Manifest, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Mr. Stewart was born July 30, 1966, in Natchez, the son of Richard Stewart Sr. and Vera Stewart.

He passed away from this life with his son, George Stewart and daughter, Cheyenne Stewart.

Survivors include his father of Vidalia; his mother of Harrisonburg; two sons, Davis Watts of Denham Springs, La., and Daniel Goins of Jonesville; his longtime companion, Shelia Dianne Smith of Vidalia; two sisters, Donna Kelly and husband, Raymond, of Biloxi and Tammy Johnese and husband, Jimmy, of Harrisonburg; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
