LISMORE, La. — Services for Jared Mount, 28, of Monterey, who died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Lismore Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the Oswalt Cemetery in Lismore under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until service time Thursday, both at the church.

Mr. Mount was born Oct. 2, 1987, in Natchez, the son of Joe and Nora Mount.

He was Baptist.

Jared was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bubba Mount.

Survivors include his parents of Monterey; two sons, Charles Ashton Mount and Robert Preston Blake Mount, both of Monterey; three sisters, Mandy Tiffee and husband, Tom, and Stephanie Book, all of Monterey, and Payton Mount of Sandy Lake, La.; paternal grandmother, Linda Mount of Lismore; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Corrine Fisher of Dry Prong, La.; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Curt Mount, Brandon Alexander, Charles Ward, Jacob Perry, Buster Ford and Jason Ellis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Tiffee, Stephen Myers, Ernie Thompson, David Book, David Pecanty, Perry Pecanty, Derek Adams, Chad Pugh, Allen Whitehead, Jack Cavitt, Garland Randall and Pete Mount.
