FERRIDAY — Memorial services for Anna Jo Peoples, 78, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at Riverside Hospital in Alexandria, La., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hill Memorial Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Peoples was born June 30, 1937, in Winn Parish, La., the daughter of Ponce DeLeon Rozelle and Katie Hopkins Rozelle.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sons, James Peoples and wife, Teresa, and Glynn Peoples and wife, Susie, all of Ferriday; one daughter, Dianne Johnston and husband, Nigel, of Waterproof; one sister, Peggy Evans and husband, Acuff, of Ferriday; five grandsons, James Peoples Jr., Michael Peoples, Paul Johnson, Nigel Johnston Jr., and Daniel Peoples; one granddaughter, Michelle Johnston; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
