NATCHEZ — Services for Wilford Hawkins Jr., 67, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel at West Gate Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 5 p.m. today with a celebration of life service at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hawkins was born July 18, 1948, in Adams County, the son of Wilford Hawkins Sr. and Lola Hawkins.

He was self-employed. His hobbies included lawn care and sports.

Mr. Hawkins was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Celia and Freddie Woodfork; and one brother, James Lee Hawkins.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hawkins; one son, Aundrian Dixon; two daughters, Deidre Hawkins Ricks and husband, Brodrick, and Wanda Faye Dixon and husband, Larry; four brothers, Jimmie Lee Hawkins of Minneapolis, Minn., Persell Hawkins and wife, Hattie, Elbert Dee Hawkins, all of Dallas, and Lionel O’Neal of Ferriday; two sisters, Ora Dell Marsaw and Claudia Moore and husband, Lonnie; one granddaughter, Alexia Davis; one grandson, Devante Hawkins; two great-great-grandchildren; one aunt, Herman Jean Earl; one uncle, Freddie Woodfork; and other relatives and friends.
