CENTREVILLE — Services for Charlie Edward Henley, 69, of Crosby, who died Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at his residence, will be noon Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Centreville.01:15 CharlieEHenley obitpic

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Henley was born Jan. 15, 1946, in Centreville, the son of Charlie Henley and Lizzie H. Norman.

He was a member of the William Winan Booster Club and a volunteer coach for the boys’ and girls’ track teams.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Sam McPipe, Maggie McPipe and Katie Lee Haynes; one son, Charlie Henley Jr.; one sister, Katie Lee Henley; and one brother, Hubert Henley.

Survivors include a devoted wife, Pamela Henley; two daughters, Shirlona Henley and Charlana Henley; two stepchildren, Shonda Archie and husband, Waven, and Joe Archie Jr. and wife, Tyeisha; four sisters, Dorothy Lee Blackwell and husband, Jimmy, Rae Winkfield and husband, Norman, Rose Parker and Jacqueline Causey and husband, Larry; three brothers, Lawrence Henley, Mack A. Haynes and wife, Mary, and Robert Earl Haynes and wife, Ruby; two aunts, Girlee Covington and Virginia McPipe; three uncles, John McPipe and wife, Dorothy, George McPipe and wife, Mary, and Mack McPipe; special niece, Sonya Robinson; two close friends, James Boss and Jewis McCoy; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
