NEW ORLEANS — Ronald Monroe Secco II, 41, a bridge operator with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, died peacefully at his residence Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in New Orleans.
Mr. Secco was a longtime resident of Slidell, La. He was also a former resident of Monterey where he attended Monterey High School.
Mr. Secco was preceded in death by his grandparents including J.R. Mitchell of Lacombe, La., and Louise Rutherford of Woodville; three uncles, Lafayette Netterville, Glen Wisner and Lawrence Havard; and one aunt, Frances Havard.
Survivors include his mother Elizabeth “Liz” Fay Mitchell and father-figure, Robert “Bobby” Cockerham; and a number of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
