Natchez Garden Club announces tableaux court

NATCHEZ — The Natchez Garden Club has announced the 2016 royal court for the Historic Natchez Tableaux. The pages, maids and generals in the royal court will serve the Natchez Garden Club’s king and queen during their reign in the upcoming Spring Pilgrimage.

Maids

Sarah Rose Garrity

Sarah Rose Garrity is the daughter of Dr. Byron and Dorothy Garrity. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty D. Gillette and the late Dr. Claude G. Gillette Jr. of Hazen, Ark., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William B. Garrity of Natchez.

Garrity graduated from Cathedral High School in 2012 and currently attends Mississippi State University, where she is majoring in kinesiology and sports studies. She is a member of Tri Delta sorority, PanHellenic Gamma Chi, Alpha Lamba Delta Honor Society, Maroon VIP, a PanHellenic delegate, a Bully’s Belles athletic recruiter and a class council representative.

Garrity enjoys traveling, shopping, painting, watching sports, Netflix, reading and hanging out with family and friends.
Her previous pageant participation includes frontiersman in Raising of the Flag.

Julia Rachel Kuehnle

Julia Rachel Kuehnle is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Kuehnle Jr.
She is the granddaughter of Dr. Bruce M. Kuehnle and the late Julia Benoist Kuehnle and Mr. and Mrs.
Noland Biglane all of Natchez.

Kuehnle graduated from Cathedral High School in 2015 and currently attends Mississippi State
University with an undeclared/pre-law major.
She is a member of the MSU Speech and Debate Council, Delta Gamma Fraternity and Reformed University Fellowship.

She enjoys traveling, hunting, dancing and music.
Her previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, page to King Stephen Edwards and her cousin Queen Joanna Biglane McNeel, Big Maypole, Placard Bearer, The Wedding, Can Can, Soirée and danced the Soirée lead her senior year.

Lauren Brooke McCann

Lauren Brooke McCann is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim McCann.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Tarver of Vidalia and Mr. Bruce McCann and the late Janet McCann of Natchez.

McCann graduated from Cathedral High School in 2013 and attends the University of Southern Mississippi, where she is majoring in medical laboratory science with a minor in molecular biology.

She is a member of Delta Gamma sorority, USM Student Legacy Alumni and the Delta Gamma Dance Team.
She enjoys playing golf with her dad, tailgating at USM football games and spending time with friends and family.
Her previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Soirée and Soirée Sweatheart and Can Can.

Shelby Alexandra Stokes

Shelby Alexandra Stokes is the daughter of Brenda Stokes and Chad Gauthreaux.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Stokes of Natchez.

She
graduated from Lutheran High School in 2013 and attends the Cafe Hope Culinary Program.

Stokes enjoys dancing and reading.
Her previous pageant participation includes Flower Girl and Bride in The Wedding, 2015 court and has participated in the Tableaux every year since 1994.

Laura Katherine Nix

Laura Katherine Nix is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jayson Nix.
She is the granddaughter of Ruth and John Nix and Linda and Huey Martin all of Natchez.

Nix graduated from Adams County Christian School in 2014 and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College where she was a member of the Colettes and Phi Theta Kappa. She currently attends the University of Southern Mississippi, where she is majoring in nutrition and dietetics.

Nix enjoys dancing.
Her previous pageant participation includes Can Can, Soirée and Soirée Sweatheart Lead.

Presley Kendall Davis

Presley Kendall Davis is the daughter of Mistie Heard and Joe Davis.
She is the granddaughter of John and Caroline Ingram of Natchez and Joe and Carolyn Davis of Ferriday.

She graduated from Cathedral High School in 2014 and attends Louisiana State University, where she is majoring in
animal science (pre-veterinary medicine).
She was named Miss CHS her senior year of high school. At LSU she is a member of the Louisiana State University
Honors College, Delta Delta Delta fraternity, Sigma Alpha Phi chapter of the
National Society of Leadership and Success, the chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars,
the SCLA Honor Society, the pre-vet club, a student worker for Greek Life and
member of the Tiger Athletic Foundation Collegiate Club.

She enjoys dancing, piano, animals, traveling, music, hunting, fishing, spending time with family, reading, being outdoors, hanging out with friends and being a big sister to Joey, Owen and Caroline.

Generals

Samuel James Fury IV

Samuel James Fury IV is the son of Colleen Fury Sandidge and Samuel Fury III.
He is the grandson of Janice Johnson Cummings and the late Alkaney Cummings Jr. and
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fury II.

Fury graduated from Cathedral High School in 2013 and currently attends Louisiana State University majoring in environmental management systems with a minor in business.
While at Cathedral, he was an honors graduate in the class of 2013.

Fury enjoys running, skateboarding and basketball.
His previous pageant participation includes Virginia Reel, Soirée with the lead in both tableaux.

Peyton David Jenkins

Peyton David Jenkins is the son of David Jenkins and Wendy Jenkins.
He is the grandson of Maureen Saunders of Vidalia, Terry Saunders of Ferriday, Betty Dossett of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jenkins of Woodville.

Jenkins graduated in 2013 from Cathedral High School.
He worked for Latshaw Drilling in New Mexico after graduation and is now employed
with Capital Ultrasonic in Baton Rouge.

He enjoys duck hunting.
His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Big Maypole, Page and Picnic.

Jeffrey Colton Webb

Jeffrey Colton Webb is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Webb.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Garnell Webb and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Pennington all of Natchez.

Webb graduated from Cathedral High School in 2013 and currently attends the University of Mississippi, where he is majoring in banking and finance/real estate.
He is a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, a former Associated Student Body senator, a provost scholar and a Golden Key member.
He enjoys hunting, fishing, shooting skeet and following Ole Miss sports.

Joshua Wyatt Wilkerson

Joshua Wyatt Wilkerson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ulmer II and Mr. and Mrs. Reagen Wilkerson.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ulmer of Natchez, the late Mr. and Mrs. McDonald Wilkerson, Mr. Jack Pope Jr. of Monroe, La., the late Mrs. Gayle Walker and Mr. Jack Walker of Rayville, La.

Wilkerson graduated from Cathedral High School in 2013 and is currently attending the University of Southern Mississippi, where he is majoring in kinesiology. At USM, he is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He played football while he attended Millsaps College in 2014.

Wilkerson enjoys hunting, fishing, athletics and the outdoors.
His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, BIg Maypole, Fisher Boy, Showboat, Polka, British soldier in Raising of the Flag, Flag Runner, Soirée and The Hunt.

Connor Bost Tipton

Connor Bost Tipton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Tipton.
He is the grandson of Mr. Robert Baker Valentine and the late Anne “Bit” Valentine of Natchez, the late Mr. Carl Tipton and Polly Tipton of Mt. Sterling, Ky.

Tipton graduated in 2013 from Fontainebleau High School in Mandeville, La. He attends Rhodes College, where his is majoring in biology.
He is a member of the Rhodes College Honor Roll and dean’s list. He was voted “Best Leadership” in Fontainebleau High School senior class by his peers. He is a member of the Rhodes College Men’s
soccer team and Leadership Council founder for the soccer team.

Tipton enjoys basketball, Frisbee, outdoor activities like kayaking and hiking, water sports and movie watching.
Tipton’s previous pageant participation includes the Little Maypole.

Thomas William Garrity

Thomas William Garrity is the son of Dr. William Byron and Dorothy Garrity.
He is the grandson of the late Dr. C.G. Gillette Jr. and Mrs. Betty Gillette of Hazen, Ark. and
the late Mr. and Mrs. William B. Garrity of Natchez.

Garrity graduated in 2014 from Cathedral High School and currently attends Mississippi State University, where he is majoring in kinesiology-CLEP.
He is a member of Maroon VIP, on the dean’s list and plays intramural sports.
He enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling and hanging out with friends.

Harper McKinney Carter

Harper McKinney Carter is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Carter. She has a brother Coleman and a sister Mary Collins.
She is the granddaughter of Kinney and Ann Carlton of Natchez, Craig Carter of Hammond, La., the late Linda Patterson of Folsom, La. and the great granddaughter of Ann Ballew.

Carter is a kindergarten student at Cathedral School.
She is a member of First Baptist Church Mission Friends and choir.
Carter enjoys horse riding, ballet and gymnastics.
Her previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole, Home from the war, Showboat and The Hunt.

Anna Leigh Jordan

Anna Leigh Jordan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Jordan.
She is the granddaughter of David Landry and Mary Landry of Lafayette, La., Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy June of Ferrriday, Dianne Jordan and the late Kenneth Jordan of Natchez.

Anna Leigh is currently a first grade student at Cathedral Elementary School.
She is a member of First Baptist Church choir and Girls in Action and was an all-star in
softball last year.

Jordan enjoys gymnastics, ballet and softball.

John Wesley “Jake” Middleton IV

John Wesley “Jake” Middleton IV is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley “Wes” Middleton III. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley “Jake” Middleton Jr., Mr. Bubba Hinson, Ms. Linda Middleton and Mr. Richard Michael “Mike” Biglane all of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Rossi Copeland of Ferriday, La.

Middleton is currently a kindergarten student at Cathedral Elementary School.
He enjoys hunting and watching football with his father as well as playing soccer, basketball and baseball.
His previous pageant participation includes Little Maypole.

Grayson Ellis Tosspon

Grayson Ellis Tosspon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brent Ellis Tosspon.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Binkey Vines Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kelly and Mr. George Tosspon.

Tosspon is a kindergarten student at Cathedral Elementary School.
He enjoys swimming, baseball, soccer, playing with friends, LSU football and spending time with his family. He attends St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ferriday.
