WATERPROOF — Services for Lois Kelly Wilkerson, 78, of Waterproof, who died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with the Rev. Adrian Lundy officiating.

Burial will follow at Canton Cemetery in Newellton, La., under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Wilkerson was born July 21, 1937, in Baton Rouge, the daughter of William and Hattie Morgan Kelly.

She was a retired teacher from Tensas Parish school system.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Wilkerson Sr.; one sister, Yvonne Coleman; and two brothers, Lloyd William Kelly Sr. and Donald Kelly Sr.

Survivors include one son, Bobby Wilkerson Jr. and wife, Shantrell, of Waterproof; one daughter, Tiffany W. Franklin and husband, Correll, of Zachary, La.; one sister, Shirley Hammond and husband, John, of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren, Correll Franklin Jr. and Cayden Franklin of Zachary, La., and Jeremiah Wilkerson of Waterproof; and one sister-in-law, Luehelen Lundy of Newellton.
