NATCHEZ — Services for Brenda G. Barker, 73, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at her residence, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Wynn officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barker was born Oct. 4, 1942, in Jacksonville, Texas, the daughter of Garland E. Gee and Cletus Grimes Gee.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and Pilgrimage Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Terry Gee.

Survivors include her husband, William Barker of Natchez; her brother, Kenneth Gee and wife, Margaret, of Smithdale; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Paul Guido, Bubba Souderes, Dennis Brewer, Johnny Thornton, Blake Emfinger and David Freeman.

Memorials may be made to the Natchez Adams County Humane Society.
