HAZLEHURST — Services for Flora Mae McCurley, 99, of Greenville, S.C., who died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at National Healthcare in Greenville, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Stringer Family Funeral Home Chapel in Hazlehurst.

Burial will follow at New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in McCall Creek under the direction of Stringer Family Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. McCurley was born Dec. 14, 1916, in McCall Creek, the daughter of Leon and Sallie Cupit.

Mrs. McCurley lived most of her life in Natchez and Hazlehurst. In 2009, she moved to Greenville with her son and daughter-in-law.

She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst.

Mrs. McCurley was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewie Claude Jackson in 1973 and husband, A.J. McCurley in 1994.

Survivors include her one son, John C. Jackson and wife, Rebecca, of Greenville; one grandson, John Carter Jackson and wife, Pam, of Southhaven; one granddaughter, Rebecca Jackson Feldman and husband, Bryan, of Greenville; and three great-grandchildren, Benjamin Carter Jackson, Jackson Reid Feldman and Rebecca Caroline Feldman.
