FROGMORE — Services for William McKeel Sr., 71, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore with the Rev. Eddie Schiele and the Rev. Everett Schiele officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. McKeel was born March 11, 1944, in Frogmore, the son of Gabe and Rosie Lee Lemons McKeel.

He was retired from the Town of Ferriday as a sewer supervisor.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a number of siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Eliza Green McKeel; two sons, William McKeel Jr. of Natchez and Terral Campbell of Denver; three daughters, Shawn McKeel of Chicago, Tonya Campbell of Ferriday and Wanda McKeel of Anaheim, Calif.; three sisters, Bobbie McKeel Adams, Bertha McKeel and Rosie Lee McKeel, all of Ferriday; 10 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
