BUDE — Funeral services for Thelma “Doll” Shaw, 84, of Bude, who died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at Claiborne County Senior Care in Port Gibson, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Sweet Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Rickey O’Quinn officiating.
Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until time of services at the church.
Mr. Shaw was born Oct. 23, 1931, the son of Willie Sr. and Jessie Curtis Shaw. He was a carpenter by trade and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Steen McGhee Shaw; one son, Kevin Orlando Shaw and one brother, Douglas Shaw.
Survivors include four daughters, Betty Webb and husband, Bennie, of Bude, Tammy Nelson of Brookhaven, Angela Harper and husband, Edward, of Sacramento, Calif., and Twyla Dawn Shaw of North Carolina; three sons, Myron Keith McGhee and wife, Eve, of Bude, Eric Russell of Smithdale and Ronnie Robinson of Brookhaven; one sister, Rose Shaw Jones of Port Gibson; three brothers, Edward Shaw of Bude, Ardean Shaw and wife, Lottie, of Liberty and Willie Shaw and wife, Pam, of Port Gibson; a very close friend, Charles Isler; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
