NATCHEZ — Services for James Felton “Wee Baby” Mayberry, 72, of Berkeley, Calif., who died Friday, March 4, 2016, at his residence, will be noon Saturday at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edward Holden officiating.

Burial will follow at Watkins Street Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Mayberry was born Sept. 30, 1943, the son of Annie Evans.

He was a licensed electrician by trade and a member of the Local No. 595 IBEW.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Calvin Baker Sr.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Norma Gafford Mayberry; one son, James F. Jordan of Midway, Ala.; one sister, Carrie B. Jackson; two brothers, Calvin Baker Jr. and wife, Louise, and Melvin Baker, all of New Orleans; one stepsister, Alfreda Jones of Natchez; one uncle, John Evans and wife, Cardelia, of Natchez; three aunts, Mable Evans of Port Arthur, Texas, Atlean Evans of Oakland, Calif., and Julia Evans of Natchez; and a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
