NATCHEZ — Zach Edmondson shot a 5-under-par 67 Monday to take a one shot lead at the Magnolia Bluffs Casino Classic at Beau Pré Country Club.

The tournament serves as part of the Swing Thought Tour.

Ken Looper, Julio Vegas and Stewart Jolly each tallied a 4-under-par 68 to be tied in second place after the first day of play.

During Thursday’s action, a handful of golfers managed to complete about half their round before a sever thunderstorm moved through the area stopping play.

Golfers will attempt to restart their rounds at 8 a.m. today depending on course conditions and weather.
