CROSBY — Services for Lynette Colenburg, 49, of Houston, who died Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston, will be noon Monday at Crosby Union Baptist Church with Dr. Paul d. Landrew officiating.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gloster under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Ms. Colenburg was born Jan. 3, 1967, in Natchez, the daughter of Rufus “Mr. Son” Colenburg and Winnie Mae Batteaste.
She was employed by Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital for a number of years as a dietary aide.
Ms. Colenburg was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include four brothers, Charles Bateaste of McComb, James Bateaste and Fredrick Colenburg of Crosby and Rufus Colenburg Jr. of Atlanta; three sisters, Amie Robinson and Vickie Colenburg of Houston and Valerie Colenburg of Atlanta; one uncle, Herthon Morgan of Painesville, Ohio; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
