NATCHEZ — Two Natchez High School students were arrested Tuesday in connection with a bomb threat at the school.
Natchez police responded to the scene, searching the entire school and grounds. No explosives were found.
Audreyanne Glenn, 18, was arrested on a charge of false reporting of explosives.
Another male student, a juvenile, was also arrested.
NPD Detective Jerry Ford said phone records led to one of the students.
“And it kind of unfolded from there,” Ford said.
Natchez High Shool Principal Tony Fields said classes were interrupted for a little more than two hours, but students were able to catch up on standardized testing under way by the end of school Tuesday.
