Clarence Burnett

May 20, 1928 – March 26, 2016

PATTISON — Services for Clarence Burnett, 87, of Fayette, who died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. today at Little Zion Christian Church in Pattison with the Rev. Walter Chambers officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the church.

Mr. Burnett was born on May 20, 1928, in Jefferson County, the son of Cammie Burnett Sr. and Ruth Reed Burnett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Elton Burnett, John Burnett and Cammie Burnett Jr.; and three sisters, Elnora O’Neal, Gertrude Berry and Hinnie Bell.

Survivors include two daughters, Shae Noble and Rosie Noble, both of Houston; two brothers, Rob Burnett and James Ray Burnett, both of Pattison; three sisters, Rosie Berry of Red Lick, Mary Sue Bell of Baton Rouge and Viola Gobson of Pattison; two special nieces, Shelby Curry of Pattison, and Joyce Liddell of Jackson.
