NATCHEZ — Services for Gwendolyn Denise White, 56, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at King Solomon Baptist Church with the Rev. Michelle Brooks officiating. 

Burial will follow at Clearmount Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home in Natchez and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. White was born March 4, 1960, in Adams County, the daughter of Robert Lee White Sr. and Nancy Curtis White.

She attended North Natchez High School and was a member of Bright Morning Star Baptist Church.

Ms. White was employed by Glenburney Nursing Home for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Edward “ARoy” White; three sisters, Janie Conway Miles, Dorothy White Minor and Lydia White Seals; one nephew, Micheal A. White Jr.; and one niece, Elanda Faye White Wallace.

Survivors include three brothers, the Rev. Micheal A. White and wife, Joyce, of Port Gibson, Robert L. White Jr. and Walter L. White and wife, Debbie, all of Natchez; three sisters, Charlene White, Nancy A. White and Deloris White Davis and husband, Tommie, all of Natchez; one brother-in-law, Anthony Seals; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
