Tracy L. Myles and Derrick Batteste of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Najee RéShon Myles to Jeremis Jamaal Herrington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Herrington Jr. of Cannonsburg.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Georgia Rice Myles of Natchez.

She is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Jackson State University. She is employed by Jefferson County Upper Elementary School in Fayette.

She is the granddaughter of Mary V. Johnson and the late James R. Johnson and Augustine B. Williams, all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Natchez High School and is employed by Altair-Strickland in Laporte, Texas.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank White and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Herrington Sr., all of Cannonsburg.

The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Historic Jefferson College in Washington.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the venue.
