Aug. 11, 1951 – May 19, 2016

GLOSTER — Services for Walter Aloysius “Coffee Man” Brown Jr., 64, of Summit and former longtime resident of Gloster, who died Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster with the Rev. Greg Beaty officiating.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born Aug. 11, 1951 in Fayette, the son of Walter Aloysius Brown Sr. and Helen Jones Brown.

He was a retired route salesman for Community Coffee Company with 35 years of service.

He also was a graduate of Delta State University in Cleveland.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Pebble Robinson, Rose Estelle Pansano and Sara Brown.

Survivors include one son, Clay Brown and wife, Jana; two daughters, Hollie Lambert and husband, Justin, and Sara Sullivan and husband Jeffrey; one brother, David Brown and wife Karen; two sisters, Carolyn Nations and Vivian Cangemi; 11 grandchildren, Benzi, Kelly, Remi, Landon, Mylie, Jake, Bailey, Leyton, Chance, Jaice and Oakes; one great-grandson, Wade; one brother-in-law, Teddy Roinson; numerous nieces and nephews and his best friend, Genae Bailey.
