NATCHEZ — Felicia Irving beat Joseph Gunning in Tuesday’s runoff election for Natchez alderman in Ward 4.

Unofficial results show Irving received 328 votes or 58 percent of the ballots cast compared to Gunning who received 236 votes or 42 percent of the vote.

Before the runoff, 88 absentee ballots were cast. Those votes will be counted beginning Wednesday.
