FAYETTE — Services for Julius Doss Sr., 79, of Fayette, who died Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bradrick Collins officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Doss was born June 11, 1937, in Jefferson County, the son of Harry and Maggie Doss.

He served as an usher at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Doss was preceded in death by his parents; nine siblings; one grandson; and a number of aunts and uncles.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Doss; seven children; 34 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
