VIDALIA — Funeral services for William Lee “Billy” Hill 83, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez while surrounded by his loving family, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Ron Ledford officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday,

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church.

Mr. Hill was born Sept. 18, 1932. in Springridge, La. to the union of William Willis and Mattie E. Davidson Hill. He was a veteran of the United States Army; a life long resident of Vidalia and a member of Calvary Baptist Church for forty-five years. He was the local produce manager for the markets in Vidalia for forty-plus years. He will surely be missed by all that knew him.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Larry Hill.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty three years Dorothy Hill, children Linda Myers of Monroe, Mike Hill of Vidalia, Buddy Hill and wife Cathy of Vidalia; grandchildren Diana Stanley and husband Jason, Nicole Dunn and husband Paul, Robin Kirby and husband Daniel, Amanda Hill and fiance Stephen Browning, Holden Hill and fiance Elizabeth Fazzio; great -grandchildren Brittany and Scott Stanley, Morgan Miller, Makenzie Miller, Abigail Kirby and Karson Hill.

Pallbearers will be John Auld, Louis Crooks, Robert Parker, Jimmy Higgins, Stephen Browning, R. V. Mize, Jason Stanley and Daniel Kirby.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harley Loy, Barry Loy, Tim Loy, Jeff Loy and Del Loy.
