NATCHEZ — Services for Beatrice McGrew Ross, 95, of Natchez, who died Friday, July 8, 2016, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Windy Hill Baptist Church No. 1, in Cranfield, with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.  

Burial will follow at Evans Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ross was born June 5, 1921, in Natchez, the daughter of Steve McGrew and Anna Mock.

She served as a mother of the church.

Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Herman McGrew Sr.

Survivors include her husband, George Ross Jr.; one daughter, Cordelia “Cookie” Wells; two grandchildren, Brenton and Briyana; three great-grandchildren, Peyton, Ashton and Brooklynn; seven nieces and nephews, Herman Jr., Marjorie, Ann, Lillian, Melinda, James and Catherine; two sisters-in-law, Rose M. Jones and Edeta Waters; two brothers-in-law, the Rev. Robert Ross and Albert Ross; and a number of other relatives and friends.
