MEADVILLE — Services for Hilda Faye McManus, 78, who died Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be 2 p.m. today at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Mullins officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. McManus was born Dec. 10, 1937, in Franklin County, the daughter of Troy Myers and Lottie Sullivan Myers.
She was a retired convenience store owner and manager. She was an avid sports fan, rooting for the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks and the New Orleans Saints.
She loved her family, was faithful to her church and loved to spend time in Bible study.
Mrs. McManus was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Troy McManus; one daughter, Lydia Case; and three brothers, Travis Myers, Delma Myers and Loyd Myers.
Survivors include one daughter, Lajaun Case; two sisters, Nancy Burris and husband, Jimmy, and Willie Templet and husband, Bobby; two grandchildren, Drue Beach and wife, Summer, and Danaé Beach Hernandez and husband, Luke; one great-granddaughter, Braeleigh Ranaé Hernandez; a special friend, Oliver Jones; and a number of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ret Templet, Drae Beach, Tyrone Burris, Rance Templet, Austin Burris and Ryan Templet.
Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Hernandez, Harold Wentworth, Tommy Lynn Sullivan, Kolby Burris and Lucas Burris.
The family extends a very special thanks to the staff of Franklin Memorial Hospital for the many hours of dedicated and faithful service.
