JONESVILLE — Services for Essie “Nell” Hardie, 83, of Jonesville, who died Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at Promise Hospital, will be 10 a.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville with the Revs. Tony Ganey and Lester Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow at McFarland Gurie Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Hardie was born Saturday, April 1, 1933, the daughter of B.D. Wyles and Maude White Wyles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sherrie Thompson; and two brothers, Earl Wyles and Shelby Wyles
Survivors include one daughter, Pam McGraw and husband, Yates, of Lake Concordia, two sons, Bo Hardie and John Hardie, both of Jonesville; two grandsons, Morgan Ryan and wife, Jessica, of Natchez and Payton Ryan of Concord, N.C.; two granddaughters, Storee Williams and husband, Pete, of Vidalia and Tiffany Foster and Justin Cain of Jonesville; two great-grandsons, Foster Cain and Jax McGraw; two great-granddaughters, Presley Williams and Molly Ryan; three brothers, Dee Wyles and wife, Sara, of Vidalia, Gordon Wyles of Jonesville and Jay Wyles of Bentonville, Ark.; and one sister, Clara Fults of Orange, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Morgan Ryan, Pete Williams, Jackie Ryan, Justin Cain, Stephen Hardie, Weggie Hardie and Tony Borden. Honorary pallbearer will be Payton Ryan.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to The Columns, Promise Hospital, Dr. William Coney, Dr. Kevin Ingram and a special thanks to her caregiver and friend, Emma Conner.
