MCCOMB — Services for Mary Ellington Anderson Richardson, 88, of McComb, who died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation, will be 11:30 a.m. today at Jones Family Funeral Home Chapel in McComb with the Rev. Diane Woodall officiating.
Burial will follow at Pike Memorial Gardens under the direction of Jones Family Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Richardson was born June 3, 1928, in Natchez, the daughter of Henry Martin Stanley Anderson and Eva Mae Cooley Anderson.
She was a member of Summit Methodist Church. She retired from Film Transit after many years of service. She loved to crochet, sew and take care of her two cats.
Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward A. “Eddie” Richardson III; two sisters, Robbie Mae Anderson and Eva Claire Anderson; one brother, John L. Anderson; and one grandson, Edward A. Richardson V.
Survivors include two sons, Edward A. “Andy” Richardson IV and wife, Mary, of Magnolia and Stanley Noel Richardson and wife, Teresa, of McComb; two daughters, Diane Oswell and husband, Harry, and Claire Carona and husband, Jay, all of McComb; nine grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Toney, Mike Toney, J.P. Carona, Jeremy Holmes and Jason McCullough.
