Steven Franks and Caleb Poole combined for 302 yards and four touchdowns as Wilkinson County Christian Academy defeated Prairie View Academy 42-16 Friday night at the Rams’ homecoming game.
Franks ran for 168 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries. Poole had 17 carries for 134 yards and three touchdowns. Poole also threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Cole Boyd that gave WCCA a 28-0 lead.
After Prairie View scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, the Rams responded with two scores of their own late in the game.
WCCA (4-1) next plays at 7 p.m. Friday at River Oaks School.
