VICKSBURG — Graveside services for Ray Sullivan, 83, of Monroe, La., who died Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, in Monroe, will be 2 p.m. today at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg, with the Rev. Milton “Sonny” Valentine officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Mr. Sullivan was born Jan. 26, 1933, in Franklin County, the son of William Elder Sullivan and Lula Mae Wallace.
He was employed by Cottons Holsum Baker for 42 years in Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Howard Ray Sullivan; four brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Dot Sullivan; one daughter, Vicki Sullivan; two grandchildren, Dylon Jones and wife, Shelby, and Jordan Jones and fiancée, Kayla; and four great-grandchildren, Emma, Haylan, Brantlee and Ryleigh.
