JONESVILLE — Graveside services for Houston Cornelious White Jr., 78, of Jonesville, who died Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at LaSalle General Hospital, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Pease Cemetery in Larto, La.
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. White was born Nov. 15, 1937, in Larto, the son of Herman Cornelious White Sr. and Effie Paulk White.
He was owner and operator of Napa Parts Store and he was a farmer.
H.C. proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Walter White Jr., Archie White, Jack White and Pete Ray White; two sisters, Marjorie Book and Shirley Gann; and one granddaughter, Brittany Nicole White.
Survivors include three daughters, Shannon Bairnsfather and husband, Jeff, of Monterey, Wanda D’Antonio and husband, Joe, of Boston and Gayla McMillin and husband, David, of Jonesville; one son, Larry White of Jonesville; and two brothers, Cobby White and wife, Adrian, of Wildsville, La., and Jimmy White and wife, Claudia, of Mobile, Ala.
