NATCHEZ — Services for Thomas Murphy Galloway Jr., 94, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at his residence, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wes Faulk officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Galloway was born March 3, 1922, at Union, the son of Thomas Murphy Galloway Sr. and Sallie Hansford Galloway.
He was retired from International Paper Company as a machinist.
Mr. Galloway was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nell Galloway; one brother, James Galloway; and two sisters, Rebecca Galloway and Ruth Galloway Accomb.
Survivors include one son, Murphy Galloway and wife, Annette, of Diamondhead; two daughters, Jo Ann Bonner and husband, Eddie, of Elberta, Ala., and Betty Jean Galloway of Birmingham, Ala.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one cousin, Fay Hall of Philadelphia; and three nephews.
Pallbearers will be Allen Burchfield, Jimmy Galloway, Larry Galloway, Neil McGuire, Paul Arnold and Alex Hubbard.
