NATCHEZ — Services for Linda Carol Ware Wilson Morgan, 52, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Linwood Baptist Church in Church Hill with the Rev. D.W. Howard officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morgan was the daughter of Johnny Ware and Julia Ware.
She was preceded in death by her father; one daughter, Andrea Ware; two nieces, Kimberly Ware and infant girl Mason; one nephew, ViCarlos Mason; grandparents, Alfred and Julia Tyler Reason; Jessie and Pearlie Ware and Annie Bell Harris Ware; three brothers-in-law, Elbert Thompson, the Rev. Everett Sanders and Matt Mason Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Earl Morgan; her mother; one son, U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Willie Wilson and wife, Amisha, of Great Mills, Md.; one daughter, Cordelia Wilson and husband, Tommie, of Fayette; one stepson, Kevin Latham and wife, Amisha, of Charleston, S.C.; one stepdaughter, LaTorsha Wright and husband, Lofty, of Atlanta; 10 grandchildren, D’Onnicah, Diamond, Chelsey and Gregory Odem III, all of Fayette, Yasir, Lena, Tasneam and Moonir Latham, all of Charleston; Lofty Wright Jr. and Kameelah Wright of Atlanta; nine sisters, Johnnie Thompson of Fayette, Sarah Mason, Georgia Ware, Lillie Bradford and Jessie Lee Ware, all of Church Hill, Virgia Amos and Pearly Sanders of Natchez, Elissa Morris and husband, Artie, of Lonoke, Ark., and Tracy Scott and husband, Ferinand, of Atlanta; a special family member, Claudia Mae Woods of Church Hill; seven brothers, John Edward Ware and Donail Ware of Natchez, Monroe Ware of Las Vegas, Marcus Ware and Kenny Ware and wife, Patricia, all of Church Hill, Jessie Ware and wife, Sylvia, of Paris, Texas, and Steven Fitzgerald and wife, Keona, of Marietta, Ga.; special nieces, JaLisa, Zyren and Bri’Kahlyiona Brandford; one special cousin, Tameka Woods-Pinder and husband, Willie, of Natchez; and special friends, Lela A.
