NEW ORLEANS — Services for Mason Claude Wyatt Jr., 61, of Gretna, La., formerly of Natchez, who died Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at 12:30 p.m., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Baptist Church, 1737 Erie St., in New Orleans, with the Rev. Patrick Leonard officiating.   
Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna under the direction of Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St., in Gretna.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Mason was a graduate of Franklin County High School and a former employee of Danos & Curole and Marathon Oil as an operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mason C. Wyatt Sr. and Johnnie Mae Wyatt and grandparents, Cleveland and Lillie Mae Norman
Survivors include his wife, Ava Marie Himes Wyatt; three sons, Gordon Anthony Wyatt, Jason Wyatt and Mason Wyatt III; eight siblings, Jerronomore Wyatt and wife, Peggy, and Senoria Williams, all of Roxie, John Brown, Bernard Brown, Beverly Brown and Ernestine Brown, all of Claremont, Okla., Gloria Taylor and husband, Kelvin, and Massie T. Jenkins, all of Gulfport; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
