Fire department responds to early morning house fire

NATCHEZ — Natchez firefighters responded to a house fire on Mt. Carmel Drive in the Morgantown area Tuesday morning. When firefighters arrived on the scene at approximately 1:30 a.m. flames from the back of the house could be seen from the road. No one was injured in the fire. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
