NATCHEZ — A private family service will be held for Margie Lee Bean, 72, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez.   
Arrangements are under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bean was born April 17, 1944, in Roxie, the daughter of Lonnie Davis Sr. and Ruby Brooks Davis.
She was a retired nurse from Franklin County Hospital in Meadville. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her family.
Mrs. Bean was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Walker; and one brother, Lonnie Davis Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Whitehead and husband, Tracey, of Natchez; one son, Darryl Gunter of Natchez; four grandchildren, Jason Johnston, Joshua Johnston, Jessica O’Neal and husband, Sean, and Dillon Gunter; two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Carlee O’Neal; and two sisters, Frances Rehms and family and Barbara McInnis and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
