NATCHEZ — Services for the Rev. Andrew Butler Sr., 98, of Natchez, who died Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Watch Baptist Church with the Rev. Louis Selmon officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
The Rev. Butler was born Feb. 11, 1918, in Adams County, the son of Clarence and Samuel Ella Morris Butler.
He was the pastor of Zion Watch Baptist Church and was a member of Zion Watch Missionary Society. He was also retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lenora Davis Butler; three children; and his siblings.
Survivors include seven sons; three daughters; two sisters; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
