Stabbing reported in Vidalia

VIDALIA — A Vidalia man was reportedly stabbed in the left thigh with a knife Wednesday afternoon but police say the victim will not provide details of how he was stabbed or who stabbed him.
Vidalia Police Department spokesman Frankie Carroll said a 19-year-old man was stabbed at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue near the Snack Shack.
Carroll said the incident was not reported until 8 p.m., and the victim did not wish to press charges nor provide details about how he was allegedly stabbed. Carroll said he did not know who reported the incident.
The injury was not life-threatening, and Carroll said the victim did not seek medical help.
