Mr. and Mrs. Charles Keith Clifford of Sanford, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexandra Crimens Clifford to Joshua Grant Lankford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis Hart Lankford of Biloxi.

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Lee County High School in Sanford and a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Lawrence Kimbrell of Natchez and Mrs. Charles A. Clifford and the late Mr. Charles A. Clifford of Vidalia.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Long Beach High School in Long Beach and also a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford. He is a finance manager in Jackson.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robert Lankford and Mrs. Margaret Ann Hatem Necaise and Mr. Thomas Merlin Necaise of Long Beach.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at Stanton Hall.
